Jewelry Trends of 2018

Well we can all agree that no outfit look is complete without adding some bling. Even though minimalism has been the trend in fashion for the past couple of years, the same cannot be said for jewelry as we have witnessed some big and bold jewelry trends this year. Below, I have highlighted few of the jewelry styles that really stood out this year.

Pearls

Move over diamonds, as pearls are here to stay. Not just the big designer houses, but many independent and upcoming jewelry designers have featured these iridescent gems as a major part of their jewelry lines this season. And of course, you can never feel out of style when adorned in these classic gems.

Chandeliers & Fan

Chandelier and Fan style earrings have exploded in the jewelry scene and they promise to bring a pop of color to any dull outfit. These type of earrings are an excellent choice for that sultry summer destination.

Interchained

Interlocked jewelry seems to be slowly replacing minimalistic jewelry. Frequent styles include chunky and interchained earrings and bracelets that add depth to minimal designs.

Metallic

Eccentric and bold, metallic earrings definitely seemed to have revived the 80s this year.

Asymmetry

In 2018, symmetry is predictable and boring but asymmetry on the other hand is playful and fun. Asymmetric jewelry seems to have shaken up the accessorize space as it offers the freedom to mix and match with different pieces and colors.
