Biggest Fashion Trends of 2019
2018 taught us how to pull off our ugly sneakers with style and make fashion statements out of straw. These fashion trends seem too surreal to be true had we thought of them back in 2015 but thats FASHION for you, always expect the expected. And fashion trends in 2019 are getting even more bizarre and eccentric.
The pantone color for 2019 is Living Coral, which is sort of a burnt orange and has an earthy element to it. From shows like Fendi, Chanel to Max Mara, the color Living Coral dominated the fashion scene this season.
I will be diving into some of the trends that are gonna make it BIG this year.
Tight pleats
Pleats add flare and sophistication to any simple garment. I guess it is safe to say that PLEATS are the new RUFFLES for 2019. And clearly, they can be considered as a classic trend as we have been seeing pleats from decades.
Puffed Shoulders
Puffed shoulders were all the rage in the 80s and the early 90s and are definitely making a comeback this year. Spring and Fall fashion shows for this year have featured puffed shoulders in styles that are totally wearable outside the runways. A simple button down shirt with puffed shoulders could make your outfit look polished and chic without putting much effort.

Crochet
Get your vacation mode on - because you'll feel like you are on vacation all the time with the crochet trend going full blown this year. Crochet is no longer something you would wear just to the beach or something only your grandmother can pull off in the form of ugly winter sweathers. From accessories to flats, crochet seems to really bring out the artsy crafty side of fashion this season.

Animal Print
The Animal print was everywhere in 2018, especially SNAKE PRINT, and it seems to be getting even more mainstrain this year. Animal print can seem a little too bold and OUT THERE for some of us but with so many options available, from animal print boots to earrings, it can be easily styled to suit one's preferences of how bold they wanna go with the trend.

Suited Up
Who says you can't party hard in a suit? Many designers have brought out a feminine side to this male dominated outfit. Suits with different materials, from satin to sequins, have stormed the runways this season. In 2019, you can totally head straight from your office to the clubs without having to have an outfit change.
Pop of color
Get ready for a splash of color as 2019 is gonna be all about tie dye and psychedelic prints. The prints are going to be more classy and wearable unlike those tacky DIY tie dye shirts.
